Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd. (TAP) is celebrating its 29th anniversary since beginning operations in 1995. As part of the company's ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the communities surrounding its production facilities, TAP continues its longstanding “Namjai TAP Scholarships” program. For 14 consecutive years, this initiative has provided educational scholarships to local youth in community around brewery. This year, TAP's executive team and employees visited the community to donate the scholarships. The ceremony was graced by Mrs. Somsri Choprayoon, Deputy Chief Executive of Ratniyom Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and Ms. Nijjaya Lertburut, Secretary to the Chief Executive of Saiyai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, who joined in presenting the scholarships to the students at Ratniyom School on August 27th.
Mr. Kawee Meksongruek, Supply Chain Director of Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd., stated, “As a producer and distributor of world-class beverage brands, we have expanded upon our 'Brew A Better World' sustainability vision, which emphasizes the importance of social, environmental, and responsibillity. This year, marking TAP's 29 years of business in Thailand, we remain dedicated to giving back to the communities surrounding our brewery in Nonthaburi through the “Namjai TAP Scholarships” program. We have awarded a total of 36 scholarships to support the dreams and educational pursuits of students who have consistently achieved high academic performance. Additionally, we engaged in special activities at the school, reinforcing the sustainable relationship between private organizations and various community sectors.”
Ms. Patcharachanun Chalordech, a 12th grade student at Ratniyom School and a recipient of the Namjai TAP Scholarships, shared her experience: “I am truly grateful to have received this scholarship for the past 10 years, since I was in 3rd grade. The scholarship has not only eased my parents' financial burden but has also enabled me to pursue my educational interests further. I have even been able to share this support with my younger siblings who are still in school. This program is incredibly beneficial, as it creates opportunities for my classmates and me to build on our knowledge and pursue our dream careers. Personally, I aspire to become a nurse after graduation, so I can serve my community and contribute to society.”
Ms. Patcharada Churot, another 12th grade student at Ratniyom School and Namjai TAP Scholarships recipient, added, “Like my classmate, I've been receiving this scholarship since the 3rd grade. Over the years, it has allowed me to expand my knowledge and explore new interests. After finishing high school, I plan to study Journalism because I am passionate about communication. Currently, I serve as a school MC, and I hope to turn this passion into a future career.”
