Tiger pledges to support restaurants across Thailand, continues the regional campaign #SupportOurStreets

Tiger, Asia's leading beer brand, launched the regional campaign #SupportOurStreets to support its business partners. The campaign encouraged people to support their favorite restaurants across Thailand, which were facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic so that they could maintain their business. In Thailand, Tiger determined to support restaurants in response to "The New Normal" by encouraging people to use online transaction channels. This method would help to facilitate customers and reduce human contact, which may cause the spread of the coronavirus. Teamed up with Lazada, the leading e-commerce company, Tiger released online gift vouchers with participating restaurants across Thailand. To support both business owners and consumers and bring back joy and happiness to Thai society, Tiger would also double the value up to the amount that customers purchase.


Ms. Patcharachanok Sil-Udom, Tiger and Cheers Marketing Manager, said, "The current situation has a detrimental impact on the restaurant industry across Asia. The disease control measures, including dine-in, stay-at-home, and public gathering restriction, have been challenging for the restaurants. The significant decline in sales has resulted in unemployment. Some can't pay their rents, or even struggle to raise their families. It is hard to believe that some of our favorite restaurants might be permanently closed. As Tiger was born and raised alongside local businesses, we see them as a friend that always support each other. Now that our partners are facing difficulties, it is our priority to support them. That is why we launch the #SupportOurStreets campaign and encourage everybody to support their favorite restaurants, so there will still be a place to go hang out with friends where we can find joy and laughter. This great support will show the local restaurants how much we care, and when things get rough, we will always be there for them."

Support the campaign and your favorite restaurants across Thailand by purchasing the gift voucher through Lazada's application or website. The gift voucher comes in two options, (1) A 300-Baht voucher with the total value of 600 baht (Tiger tops up 300 baht.) and (2) A 600-baht voucher with the total value of 1,200 baht (Tiger tops up 600 baht.). The voucher will be sent to your email or notification on your application. The customers can use this voucher with food and beverage at the selected when they open. All vouchers are valid until March 2021.
