TAP Group, the authorized producer and distributor of premium beer Heineken, has launched Strongbow, the number one selling global apple cider from the UK, in the Thai market. With Strongbow’s mastery of extracting the 100% natural flavor from real apples, Strongbow brings a new refreshing alternative to any special moments. The recent launch event transformed Quaint in Ekamai into a blossoming apple orchard, under the concept of “A Fresh Remix of Nature”, and was attended by eco-friendly celebrities such as Pipat “Top” Apiruktanakorn, TV host/eco and social entrepreneur, Nat “Lex” Mangkang, style director of Kloset, and Kanitkul “Praew” Netbute, nature-loving singer.
Strongbow apple cider was first manufactured in Hereford. Strongbow blends up to 12 British cider apple varieties grown in the perfect environment for crispness and freshness to make delicious cider. From generation to generation, the apples are then masterfully blended to create the trademark pleasant refreshing texture with a beautiful balance of acidity and sweetness which has become the world’s favorite cider under the brand of Strongbow for over 55 years.
The launch event “A Fresh Remix of Nature”, under the same brand’s core concept, Strongbow depicted an apple orchard to bring nature back into city in a refreshing and relaxing ambiance. For Strongbow launch in Thailand, Pipat “Top” Apiruktanakorn, TV host/eco and social entrepreneur designed a limited-edition range of apple candy-scented soy wax candle. Inspired by Strongbow, the collaborative collection is made of 100% natural ingredient from soy instead of regular paraffin as soy candles are naturally biodegradable, do not produce smoke and burn 50% longer.
The delightful scent of apple candy further enhances the atmosphere with crisp and refreshing bouquet. The 200-piece soy wax candle range is available at Chang Chui Shop. All revenue will support Big Trees for sustainable urban green projects.
Furthermore, a fashion collaboration has been created by local favorite fashion house, Kloset. Nat “Lex” Mangkang, style director of the brand, drew inspiration from Strongbow logo by depicting apples into a special print on cotton. The nature-inspired pieces highlighting an open-shoulder top and trousers incorporate bright and bubbly red apples and Country Chic spirit, Kloset’s original brand essence, perfect for a backyard picnic during golden hour.

Cider may have been misunderstood as one category of beer. In fact, cider is made of concentrated apple juice fermented and left to mature with production process similar to beer.
