Guinness lights up St. Patrick's Day

This year, Guinness brought together the Irish community across Thailand and those captivated by the culture of Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together, complete with a chilled, smooth pint of Guinness.

Reaching more than 1 billion people worldwide across 200 countries, nothing quite matches the magic of St. Patrick's Day. An Irish national holiday, the festival is all about getting together in a moment of global celebration. There is no better way to mark the occasion than to enjoy beautiful Guinness in a toast with friends.

Held on March 17 2024, the festival "St. Patrick Day Let's Celebrate Together" reinforced the concept of "It's Guinness Time" by adding vibrancy and creating special moments for people to enjoy. H.E. Mr. Patrick Pat Bourne, the Irish Ambassador to Thailand, joined in the festivities amidst the exciting atmosphere of the Irish community in Thailand.

The festival took place in Sukhumvit Soi 33/1, home to numerous famous Irish bars, with full-scale light and sound displays, and featured an impressive parade by an Irish troop. The festival ended with Irish-style dance and music performances that vividly reflected the rich identity and cultural heritage of Ireland.

St. Patrick's Day, the National Day of Ireland, is observed every March 17 and is a global celebration of Irish culture and an important occasion for the Irish to remember the nation's patron saint. This year, TAP Trading Co. Ltd. the importer and distributor of Guinness in Thailand also participated in the celebration of Ireland's National Day event organized by the Embassy of Ireland in Thailand held on March 14 2024 at the Anantara Siam Hotel in Bangkok.
