TAP Group is celebrating its 27th anniversary with a commitment to promoting sustainable development in line with its strategic “Brew A Better World” master plan, improving people's quality of life and the well-being of communities surrounding its production site and improving development plans in the areas of education, health and wellness, and road safety. This includes building synergies with several agencies including Bang Bua Thong Hospital 2 and the Kon Huang Hua Club, together with the Drink Don't Drive Foundation and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation to play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life in communities across a range of contexts. Mr. Apichai Aramsri, Deputy Governor of Nonthaburi Province, together with Dr. Rungruethai Muanprasitporn, Nonthaburi Provincial Public Health Doctor, were among the witnesses for the anniversary commitment.

Mr. Kawee Meksongruek, Production Director of TAP Group, said, “On our anniversary in achieving 27 years of operations, we continue to improve people's quality of life and the well-being of our surrounding community. Simultaneously, we are prioritizing environmental awareness and ensuring that our business continues to have positive environmental impacts, all while contributing to social development and sustainable coexistence. This year, we will continue to offer scholarships to youth in our surrounding community to broaden their educational opportunities - for the twelfth consecutive year. Additionally, we are supporting health care and sanitation services by providing essential medical equipment to Bang Bua Thong Hospital 2 which is located in the neighboring community to our production site, so that they are well-prepared with the right medical tools and treatments for patients. We are also focusing on safety by donating helmets for children and youth in two sub-districts as part of our approach to implementing a disciplinary program for safety and hazard prevention from motorcycle riding.”

TAP Group continues to implement its “Brew A Better World” master plan to improve people's quality of life living around the factory and grow together sustainably. The company is, therefore, concentrating on the following three focus areas:

  1. Education: Providing the “Namjai TAP Scholarships” for the twelfth consecutive year - a fully funded scholarship program for qualified students from primary to higher education. In 2022, TAP awarded 44 scholarships worth around 320,000 baht to youth in the community until they complete their higher education. The scholarship will help recipients follow their academic and professional dreams without worrying about the cost, so they can fully apply the knowledge and skills they learned to give back their community in the future, which coincides with our goal to build a strong community and improve quality of life.
  2. Health: Donating essential equipment and tools, such as medical cabinets and automatic blood pressure monitors, to Bang Bua Thong Hospital 2 for the second consecutive year. Last year, we also donated monitoring devices to track heart function and vital signs to support hospitals in helping COVID-19 patients, reinforcing our purpose to continue to promote good health in communities in our surrounding area.
  3. Road Safety: Donating helmets for children and youth to the Sai Yai and Ratniyom Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Nonthaburi to support safe driving and reduce road incidents.

Dr. Kawit Sueman, Director of Bang Bua Thong Hospital 2, said, “We are pleased that TAP Group recognizes Bang Bua Thong Hospital 2's strong commitment and aspiration to give back to society, despite being the smallest hospital in the public health system of Nonthaburi. The essential medical equipment and products that were donated will be used in our emergency rooms and central distribution systems, such as cleaning and disinfection, for the benefit of patients in the community.”

“We are confident that improving people's quality of life and social livelihoods contributes to sustainable growth - for the community and TAP,” concluded Mr. Kawee.
